Lace paper doilies have made a huge comeback.  They are not just for Nana to put under her sandwiches anymore!  The mini ones can be used as labels to put on your mini milk bottles or anything else you might need to decoratively label, your party bags, particularly the brown paper bags which look very vintage, as do the marshmellow pink striped party bags.  As gift tags on your presents or as decoration on your invitation envelopes.  As name cards for place settings, you can just pop them on the plate or as wraps for cutlery.  Wrapped around jars, wrapped around jars with tea-lights inside them as lanterns,  on gift bags, strung up and used as bunting, particularly like the picture above with fairy lights between.  Of course you can still use them as we used to, under cupcakes, under bottles or glasses, to cover the top of a bottle or jar with some twine around.  These are just a few ideas!  If you can think of more, leave us a comment :)
