Ingredients & Tools

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 120°C
  2. Create your Meringue according to the instructions
  3. Divide the Meringue into three bowls
  4. Using the icing colours tint one portion blue, one orange, and one pink
  5. Prepare two decorating bags with the tips
  6. Stripe each bag with the three meringue batter colours
  7. Place the baking paper onto your baking tray and spread the cake pop sticks out on top (you may want to pipe a small dot in each of the four corners under the baking paper to stop it from moving)
  8. Using the 4B tip, start one inch above the stick pipe a small amount on one side, then repeat on the other, ensuring the ends overlap to form a tight braid. Repeat until you reach the middle of the stick
  9. Repeat the above step on a new stick using the 21 tip
  10. Add some finishing touches by topping with sprinkles and white nonpareils
  11. Finally, bake the pops for 45 minutes, then turn off the oven and let them set inside for 2 hours
  12. Enjoy!
