Follow these simple steps on how to apply your edible image!
Place your cake on the board/plate that you will be serving it from, make sure you cakes top is flat for the best result! I use buttercream icing (Cake Craft White Buttercream 845g) for the icing as I find it doesn't make the colours bleed, this is a product we sell online and in store, it's simply the best!
With clean and dry hands carefully peel the back plastic of the image and hold image across both hands above the cake, carefully place the image on the cake and gently flatten the image using your hand to get wrinkles out and apply the image to the icing.
If you have excess parts of your edible image hanging of the cake, what you can do is get some food safe scissors and gently trim the edges to fit perfectly to your cake. Once you've done that your cake is ready! You can decorate the sides of the cake to match the theme of the image. I used Sprinkle Medley Butterfly Garden because of it's stunning colours!
If you have trouble removing the image/Trouble shooting: High humidity is likely the cause of this as it causes the icing to soften and can cause the colours to bleed! If you have this issue place the image in the freezer for 15-30 seconds NO LONGER! And then try to remove the image.
