The Universal Cake & Cupcake Mix makes a standards size 8 inch cake, if you would like a taller cake as seen in the picture you can use another pack of the Universal Cake & Cupcake Mix and use the buttercream to layer the 2 cakes together.

For the decorations use the Cake Craft Buttercream Icing Country White use a spatula with the buttercream to create an even coat around the edge and top of the cake. You can then take some of the buttercream on the edge of your spatula and run this around the outside of the cake to get the layered look as shown in the picture. If you would like a more off white colour as shown in the picture use the Sprinks Peaches and cream gel colour.

With the excess buttercream use a Wilton #1A Round Decorating Tip and piping bag to create the swirls around the edge of the top of the cake and and sprinkle edible roses around the top of the cake. Then add in the Meri Meri Fairy Cake toppers and you are done. For a personalised touch you can also add one of our Rose Gold Long Stick Glitter candles to complete the look.
